REFERTIL Biochar Policy - Stakeholder's Final Consultation

Final call for biochar policy support 2011-2013 contribution

On behalf of the European Commission contracted FP7 REFERTIL Consortium we kindly ask available biochar policy and EU Directive FINAL support contributions from the relevant stakeholders to the REFERTIL biochar standardization programme, related to new EU Directive biochar legislation EU28 law harmonization.

The REFERTIL global stakeholders are soil scientists & research academics, biochar S&T technology owners, agri food producers, end-user SME farmers, associations, policy & Authority stakeholders and/or any professional organizations who can contribute with accredited S&T, application oriented, economical and ecological data and most importantly field tested results under industrial conditions.

The goals of the REFERTIL EU biochar standardization are clear: improvement of resources recycling and advanced material – energy - nutrient utilization efficiency; and develop new low carbon economy with associated environmental, ecological and climate protection benefits.
